We have current openings for full- and part-time occupational and speech therapists and assistants. To afford our families flexibility in scheduling, The Children’s TLC offers both weekday and weekend appointments.

Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant:

The Children’s TLC is currently seeking energetic, creative, intuitive, independent, and self-motivated occupational therapists and assistants to join our team. Clinical knowledge and a thorough understanding of Sensory Integration Theory is imperative in our clinic-based setting, as well as expertise in administering a variety of standardized tests. In addition, it is essential that therapists applying for this position demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, and a willingness to work “above and beyond” to provide the highest quality of care and treatment for the children on their case loads. Therapists must be open to learning new approaches, enjoy working with children and their families, and meet our philosophy of a child- and family-centered approach.

One year of pediatric experience is preferred; however,we welcome new graduates to apply for consideration.

Speech Language Pathologist

The Children’s TLC is currently seeking a highly qualified and self-motivated speech therapist to join our team. After conducting a complete assessment, you’ll design individual treatment plans and goals to target specific speech and language areas of weakness and maintain impeccable patient records. It’s essential that you are able to work and communicate with family members regarding each child’s progress and home carryover. Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, professionalism, and top-notch organizational skills are must-haves. New graduates are welcome to apply; however, at least one year of pediatric experience is preferred.

Social Skills Facilitator / Assistant:

The Children's TLC is currently seeking an occupational or speech therapist, or an individual from a related field (i.e., Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, Behavioral Intervention, Teaching, Marriage and Family Therapy), to help lead or assist with the Buddy Bunch Social Skills Group.

Social Skills Facilitators must work well as a team and be energetic, creative, patient, organized, time-efficient, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities include leading or co-facilitating groups of children, communicating home-program recommendations to parents, assisting with curriculum planning, following up with families and writing daily notes and reports as needed.We strongly recommend that individuals applying for this position have experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. 

Clinic Volunteers

Volunteering is the perfect opportunity for college students looking to go into a related pediatric field to gain additional experience working with children!

We are currently seeking volunteers to help out in our clinic. Our volunteers gain hands-on experience working with children of all ages and abilities. In addition to supporting lead therapists during activities, volunteers assist with checking in kids, organizing group materials and supplies, setting up / cleaning up activities, creating crafts, taking photographs, and performing light office functions.

Volunteers must love kids, be energetic, creative and motivated, work well with others, be patient, neat, time-efficient, organized, and be able to take directions and follow through with tasks. All volunteers at The Children’s TLC are carefully screened and must pass a background check.
